Where is Quảng Bình in the Nghệ-Tĩnh Soviets?

Today, I added the pre-1934 churches of Quảng Bình province north of the Gianh River to the Catholic Churches map. Why just north? Because these are the churches administered by the Diocese of Vinh in 1930-31 (formerly, from 1846 to 1922, Tonkin méridional (ĐỊA PHẬN NAM ĐÀNG NGOÀI) and therefore, I assume, more connected to the Nghệ Tĩnh Soviets than those south of the Gianh River. I will soon also try to add in the concessions, markets, etc. for this area as well.

However, except for one source – Võ Quang Sự, Đảng cộng sản Việt Nam, Đảng bộ Quảng Bình, Ban châp hành, Lịch Sử Đảng Bộ Quảng Bình (Quảng Bình: Quảng Biǹh, 1995) – I can’t find any histories that might concern the involvement of Quảng Bình province in the Nghệ Tĩnh Soviets. There was a great deal of activity in Kỳ Anh district and especially Hương Khê district just to the north of Quảng Bình province, but it makes no sense that insurgency and counterinsurgency would have stopped at the border between Hà Tĩnh and Quảng Bình provinces, especially since the Gianh River was an important trade and transportation corridor.

Does anyone have any information or sources to share?
